First off Download JDK From the following location,
Since this is just a run through, download the macport Preview from the following location
Open up a terminate and make the following directory.
sudo mkdir /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines
Once download open the .dmg file and doubleclick on the install to start the process.
New window will pop up with the following, Welcome screen, Just click Continue
On Mine, I had to place my password in order to right to the Library Directory.
Know have JDK Installed in the following directory
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.7.0.jdk
